There’s no city in the world like Plovdiv. 🤍💚❤️

What a cool city, loved the cobblestone and old gates. Really neat how they kept the old stadium and incorporated it as well.

The ampitheatre looks amazing. It's crazy to think how something this grand could just disappear, until it is rediscovered. It also puts time into perspective, at least for me, and how short life is, and how we must make the most of it. It's so cool seeing you both travel the world. Wishing I could do the same. Where to next?

Great view of the town I grew up in, you brought up so many memories with your video, of course, it was very different back in the time and I did perform in the amphitheatre (breathtaking experience).

The city was named after Philip of Macedonia after he captured it. He was Alexander the Great father. Hisar is also another small town with even more ruins than Plovdiv.

I did not realize the antiquity here. It was on the edge of being off of our World tour until I heard that. Thanks for the inspiration. We really appreciate what you are doing here and also the support of our channel as we build up to our carbon-neutral drive around the World. Our recent growth could not be possible without friends like you. Cheers! - Turtle and Bear

Wonderful video, guys! I just love the natural flow of your narratives, feels like I have just lived through this experience with the two of you. Whoever does the editing, great job! Hoping to learn to be half as good as you with it one day.
I didn't quite get the impression that you loved the local cuisine. What DID you like the most, if anything?

Many people don't realize the significance why being a city on 7 hills is advertised. It's because Rome is know as the city of 7 hills too. It's the connection with Rome, not just a random fact.

Hahaaaa. You took the wrong way up to Youth Hill. There is nice wide paved road on the other side of that hill. :-)
