My tutor slows down the YouTube video and gradually speeds it up. Playing along with the video is a nice challenge. Before the quarantine he tabulated the guitar parts of Love Of My Life. I'm still getting used to chords. The Queen book I have isn't tabulated. I have no idea how to play them. My main problem with chords is not flipping people off. I'll have to see if I can play with my fingers curled under like yours.

I probably could have gotten away with “Crazy Little Thing” when I myself got going in ‘95, but the Bb’s would have probably stopped me cold. I subjectively think “Fat-Bottomed Girls” would make a better entry-level Queen tune. You can play it without any bar chords or power chords.
