How Tien Should have Been Written in Dragonball Super

How i would have booked Tien in Dragon ball Super.
The fix the patch 😂

There are so many ways they could have gave Tien a power up and written him better. Tien trained with King Kai the longest out of everyone, why couldn't he secretly have learned the Kaioken? Tien always trains, giving him the Kaioken on top of training would have given him a huge power boost. Or better yet, why can't Tien train in the hyperbolic time chamber? Here's a quick, easy, and sensible way to give Tien a power boost: Have him secretly train in the hyperbolic time chamber. Then, Tien can train in the gravity chamber and gradually increase the gravity level little by little until he can reach 500 or even 1000x earth gravity. Afterwards, have him train with Whis. All of those combined will put Tien on Super Saiyan level at least. Then, to give Tien a huge moment, have him whip out the Kaioken technique that he secretly learned from King Kai long ago. And that's just one possibility. There are many. Toriyama once said Tien has hidden Godlike powers within his 3rd eye. Why not use that angle and give Tien an ascended human form? And have him train with Whis to help him control his divine ki? There are plenty of ways to write Tien, but Toei and Toriyama don't give a fuck about him enough to do it.

The video games do Tien more justice than the anime ever has. In the games, Tien is one of the best characters to choose. Especially in Dragon Ball FighterZ. He's like top 10 best character in the game.

Even though the movie is non canon, In Bojack Unbound, Tien was holding his own against Trunks in his base form. Even though he lost, he still looked STRONG! That’s how you book a character.

Tien is literally one of the easiest characters to write for in Dragon Ball, heck his martial artist/ character journey is like a cross between Goku and Vegeta, you could've used his newfound position as a Master of a bunch of students as an in cannon reason for Goku to start taking an interest in drawing out other people's potential. Cue meeting U6 Saiyans and him seeing Vegeta's relationship with Cabba as a means to make Vegeta stronger to hammer it home a little more for Goku.
Goku's mind goes to the kid that Dende mentioned as Buu's reincarnate and how he reminds him a lot of Goku. Dende tries and fails to convince Goku to train Uub because Goku figures Kid Buu was by far the most talented creature he ever fought so his mind is set on the rematch. I hated how they had Dende convince Goku to train Uub when it was enough for Goku jto ust assume Uub will get tough on his own because that matches with the End of Z.
Perhaps if Potarra was retconned, Goku could've hoped for Caulifla or Kale to become his first students after teaching them the limits of talent and why they need to train skill. To stop looking at transformations as cheat codes, but then they fused to become a new young rival named Kefla rather than a potential student to groom.
This might've had even greater impact if after he reflected on what his own Master and fellow students have meant to him and his growth, now he kind of wants to start doing the same for others.

See, Tien's had wasted narrative potential here to since one of the core themes of TOP was supposed to be Master and Students. Also how Masters will grow from their students, Tien could've kick started this train of thought for Goku.

Tien took out hermila in tournament of power I only know that because I’m a Tien fanboy and I agree with everything you said however I feel something in the tournament with Tien and Hit who both sensed something off before the tournament started and in the dragon ball manga Tien states against Jackie chun host third eye allows him to mimic any technique he witnesses maybe have his third eye work when hit uses time skip and Tien learns it but has less control and leads into his sacrifice taking out a pride trooper later

I completely agree. I like the idea of him still defeating the sniper (btw the name's Hermira) without losing and then going out while defeating a good Pride Trooper like Kenseral.

Some additions I would make: have Tien counterattack Roshi's lightning attack using the clone technique in the sense that he split offscreen and had the clone that the hit so that he could remove the self off Roshi or attack him while he is distracted. Also, instead of having him use the tribeam to finish Roshi off, have the dodon ray instead.

Also, replace Yurin with Launch; have Launch finally catch up with Tien's location and mistakenly free some magic ghost that causes the havok instead of her doing it on purpose like Yurin did.
