Miles' real power isn't being invisible, it's the ability to control frames. Truly the most spiderman moment ever

We all know that Drax moves at 0 frames per second because he is standing perfectly still.

How it feels to play with your friend who have good connection while you don't:

It’s not about strength. It’s about him growing into his role as Spider-Man. Clunky and slow at first and then smooth and articulate later. He’s growing up

It’s actually a storytelling technique that the animators used to represent Miles’ growth through the movie! We connect fluid movement with skill so as his skills develop his motions become more fluid

“Hey did you fix that bug where Miles moves at a slower frame rate?”

“Yeah, I totally fixed it. Definitely.”

Imagining the animators being delighted to know there were moments of Miles being completely invisible

I love when creators put in these kinds of details. You might not consciously notice it, but it adds just that little something extra.

Imagine if they were self conscious.
"Why they heck am I glitching." "Oh, never mind, it's smooth now. "

What’s also interesting is I believe the new Puss in Boots movie does the same thing. During action/fight scenes, character movement is dropped to only 12 frames per second, whereas during non-action scenes everyone moves at 24 frames per second. The only exception to this is the character Death, who always moves at 24 frames per second, even during action and fight scenes, as a show of how much stronger he is than the other characters.

The more I learn about into the spiderverse the more I love it. It truely wanted to use every single thing at its disposal to tell its story

The entirety of Spiderverse is an absolute masterpiece of love and attention to detail. Every single decision follows great art direction to keep the comic book feel in every aspect of the movie. Even the depth of field is a CMYK chromatic aberration effect
