Psalms Chapter 138: (A Psalm of David.) I will offer my wholehearted praise to you; in the presence of all, I will sing your praises, even before the gods. I will bow in worship toward your sacred temple and extol your name for your lovingkindness and truth, for you have exalted your word above all else. In the day when I cried out, you answered me; you infused my soul with strength. All the kings of the earth shall give praise to you, O LORD, when they hear the words that come from your mouth. They shall sing about the ways of the LORD, for the glory of the LORD is great. Though the LORD is exalted, He regards the humble, but He keeps the proud at a distance. Even as I walk through the midst of adversity, you will revive me; you will stretch out your hand against the anger of my enemies, and your right hand will deliver me. The LORD will fulfill his purpose for me; your steadfast love, O LORD, endures forever; do not abandon the work of your hands.
