I kinda like the detail that when Puss blocks with the blade Kitty gave him we can faintly see Death's eyes widen. Almost like he is thinking on if this is the same cat he faced before and has been hunting.

“Go find your flame”: in the end, Puss decided to spend his last life with Kitty and Perrito
