I bought this guitar (used) last week. Let me just say: it took me a few days to get used to the neck (all my guitars have high frets while the Luke has very low frets) but right now I can honestly say that it's the best neck I've ever tone of the EMGs is way better than a common standard single coil (I own 2 strats and a Tele!!) It's a work of art.

Crazy player. Combines all the smooth bebop/jazz/fusion flavour the seventies brought with the wild 80s rock shred. But you can also tell he’s a song-guy, plenty of George Harrison/Keith Richards in his playing too. Is there anything he can’t do?

Im a happy owner of a Luke guitar and let me tell you, it is so good that u start looking at other guitars differently, as quality is just so good on these Lukes.
This older Luke model (regardless of being emg equipped, for the purists that is) is a great sounding instrument, both plugged in and unplugged.
Great job Luke and EBMM, your guitar is a piece of art.

I would like to find a "LUKE" without a battery powered cicuitry. Perhaps the earliest version? I use a hardtail Silhouette model. It is like having a "Strat/Paul" only much better. I have a Strat that sits in the closet. I traded my Tele for one of my Silhouettes. Now I have one with three single coils, 2 standard hsh hardtails, and one hsh with Seymour Duncan PRails. I also have a Silhouette 6 String Baritone/Bass. I have plans for a couple other Music Man guitars. Well actually my next electric guitars will probably be Sterling models.

I had one of these. Great guitar but way too small for me. Too narrow and small neck and body too. If it would have been strat size i would have kept it.
