How to evaluate a function for a given value

👉 Learn how to evaluate a function and for any given value. For any function, f(x) x is called the input value or the argument of the function. To evaluate a function, all we have to do is to change the argument of the function from x to the new given argument. We do this by "plugging in" the value into the input variable of the function and then simplifying it.

What if there is no given function equation? There is only a graph with two functions and all that is given is f(x) for one line and g(x) for the other. I have to evaluate the function at given x values as well.
