What will be key for us next season is the use of Wide spaces which we didn't do last year meaning a lot more crosses and cutbacks which Tammy and batshuyai thrive on as well as attacking midfielders like mount, RLC. Pulisic, CHO as well Emerson and James Love to cross and cutback meaning more chances created for us and to excel much more offensively as defensively we are already good and with zouma, James it'd make our defence go the next level.

He should continue and improve from where sarri left, cause sarri brought about a cultural change to possession based football, also need to improve wing play, full back crossing and pressing as a unit. Need to attack 6 yard box more often and need to prevent opposition players beating the off side trap easily like on certain occasions last season.

Joakim, I think you made a very good assessment and it does make sense. There is something about Lampard, unlike Solskjaer, that makes me feel he will definitely do a great job at Chelsea. He is highly respected, has the right passion in his eyes which the youth can see and feel. Ultimately, that's what the youth are all about. They have big dreams and they'd believe in him to make them big. He didn't become the best PL midfielder by chance, with 177 goals and 102 assists. He was very intelligent as a player who knew how to avoid injuries and hardly got involved in fights and tussles. He's always led himself as a true professional and I respected him for that without being a Chelsea fan. One of the most important qualities of a leader is leading by example and he has done that as a player. The rest, management tactics, he's quite intelligent to keep learning every day and will definitely do so. He had always worked harder than others in training as a player.

Great video, very well-rounded. I feel he will face some of the same issues as Sarri did with end-product and getting the ball into the box. Long shots will not work in the PL and they really need to figure out how to get forward link-up play going. With RLC out, Mount will be the only one in central midfield capable of creating chances with short passes. To an extent, Barkley can do this too. Now that we have allegedly tied Kovacic in, there is a chance at Lampard training him to get better at passing in the final third.
The big difference is hopefully this year we will have forwards who are willing to stay central and make runs to keep themselves available to receive the ball in good positions. Jorginho has really settled in well and seems great for this dynamic midfield. Will be an interesting season. Looking forward to seeing a lot more content from you!

He had to take it because life as a manager is cruel and unpredictable so the chance may never have come again but its too early for him.

The maturity he showed at Derby will be needed. So fingers crossed he can snaffle one of the minor cups and have a decent run in the league. Its more important he doesn't have a long losing streak as much as anything as I don't think people will criticize him too much if he doesn't make top 4. Anything in that 1st season that buys him time is what he desperately needs.
