This video shows how you in VDJ8 can re-map the 2 pad functions KEYBOARD and KEY SHIFT on the Pioneer DDJ-400 and Pioneer DDJ-1000 to be more like when you use the controllers with Rekordbox
Scripts used:
PAD_MODE_KEYBOARD: pad_page 'keycue' & keycue_pad_jump 0
PAD_MODE_KEYSHIFT: pad_page 'keycue' & keycue_pad_jump 1
Scripts if you also want to change the LEDs so they match - this is for the DDJ-400:
LED_PAD_MODE_KEYBOARD: pad_page 'keycue' && keycue_pad_jump OFF
LED_PAD_MODE_KEYSHIFT: pad_page 'keycue' && keycue_pad_jump ON
These keys may not be on the currently mapped list, so you may need to locate them in the dropdown
On the DDJ-1000 you can take advantage of the LED color options and make the LED scripts a little better
