I was so glad to see "after winning gold"....I was worrying he had missed a year after breaking his back and having to slowly, painfully prove the doctors wrong when they said he'd never walk again, or something like that.

My brother was a football player that got injured then addicted. He overdose 3 times, and went to prison for a year. Luckily he’s been able to beat his addiction. Been clean now for 8 years, and is married with a son.

When I was a Jr in high school I had to go to the bathroom before going to lunch. When I came out everyone was out in the hallway and started clapping, so I just took advantage of it and just had fun. It turns out it wasn’t actually for me. It was for the departing seniors. They just didn’t make it to that part of the hall yet because they started on the other side of the school. At least I can say I got to experience a standing ovation like this kid did. The best part is I didn’t get in trouble for it 😂😂😂
