Introducing the limited edition minilogue bass Polyphonic Analog Synthesizer! Product Manager Natalie Chami walks us through the striking new look of the minilogue bass with inverted red and black keys and a liquid swirl design front panel. In addition to the true rich analog capabilities of the original Korg minilogue, the minilogue bass comes with 100 new sounds, 40 of those programmed and voiced specifically for bass created by a team of professional bassists and programmers. Now’s the time to step outside the box and get down with the limited edition minilogue bass.

Advertising this as BASS edition and naming as first feature "chord mode". Genius😅😅😅

So... There is no difference?? Did Korg just have a bunch of PCBs for the older Minilogue and needed to find a way of getting rid of them?

Reminds me of the boardroom scene from Tron: Legacy.

"This year we put a '12' on the box."

Confused, why didn't you do this to the Monologue??

So it’s like motherboard for the minilogue modified slightly and tossed into a new much cooler frame, they must’ve had a lot of stock to get rid of; it’s definitely better than the normal one, but it’s barely improved by enough to justify

Damn! I want one just because of the colors. Of course the sound is more important but that shows me how important design really is.

So, it's just a minilogue with new presets and new colors? Am I getting that right?

Cool. But where are the sequencer buttons??

They should be more specific--it's just a Minilogue with different paint, and other presets. It's just a re-marketing. With all that said, it's a great synth.

So preorder for this is only $20 less than a Minilogue XD… so I should go for the XD still

Pardon my ignorance here, but based on the video it's a little hard to tell, would this be suitable for playing non bassy synth type sounds? I'm pretty comfortable playing bass for real, and I'm looking to start messing around with synths and the red and black color scheme appeal to me a little too much. I own the Korg Sv-1 88 with the red and black keys, so yeah... Very tempted, but looking for a synth and not necessarily a synth that is predominantly focused on bass since I've got that covered with my actual bass!! Can anyone provide some insight into this??

Great looking machine.
Did I understand correctly? The new presets will be applicable to the original Minilogue too?
As there's a 200€ difference between both models.
I mean, the repaint is nice... but 200€ nicer?

Is there a version with usable sounds, or is there ever been a hit made on the minilogue series?, i cant find one

The marketing scheme is real. Just a minilogue with black/red keys for more money

Three minutes into the video and I just realized there is no XY access joystick. I won’t get rid of my Minilogue XD for this no matter how cool this is. They really should’ve put an XY axis joystick. That’s the reason why I didn’t get the prologue 16.

Grey instead all the red zone (knobs and keys ) would have been ideal imho , is this an update also for old models (presets) ? Expander version ?

I wonder if this will polychain with a Minilogue XD desktop? I read something about 8 voice mode, but it wasn't clear if it meant that you can polychain with the XD. I own the XD desktop, and I've planned to get the XD keys, but I think I would like to have this instead, due to all of the new presets. Ultimately, I guess it depends on how limited it is. If it's extremely limited, then I may not have a chance. I'm definitely not into paying reseller tax.
