And another grab into my boxes of 45s here - and out comes 'Osibisa'. The band of expatriate West African and Caribbean musicians, which sort of introduced afro rock as a genre, came into life in 1969 in London and is still in existence as of the time of writing.

"Woyaya", the title track of their second album, was the B-side to the band's 1971 UK chart hit "Music For Gong Gong" and always appealed to me because of the beautiful melody, harmonies and its uplifting lyrics. Oh, and Roger Dean's cover art with the famous flying elephants also didn't fail to impress me. Enjoy!
