Feel a bit sorry for Potter...How do you know how good you are, unless you move up in expectation? Some/ most managers have, or are at, a level, but what is that level??? You'll never know without moving out of your comfort zone? Putting a guy like him, relatively early in his managerial career, in a club like Chelsea, who throw money around, and expect results, was always going to be risky...Good football man, not a Chelsea fan, but hope he emerges with his reputation intact....

Souness hasn't got clue about football from the fans perspective. Potter ripped the guts out of our club and has taken seven backroom staff and is now comming back for more and will most likely try again in the next transfer window. What does the man expect and the rest of them that left after seven games of the season? Potter has gone from hero to zero at Brighton. The Brighton Players had the same opinion judging by the way they played. The atmosphere at the Amex was out of the world. We won't miss potter at the Albion and many of us have lost all respect for him, BHAFC.

its a weird one, im a bristol rovers fan few years back we had a manger darryl clarke good manager, even better man bout us some success played good football he moved on, he now manages port vale during both games last season we chanted his name n gave him standing ovation, i can understand fans who boo their former mangers when leaving for another club though, it can be seen as insulting
