I’m glad that Denji was self aware that he gave up thinking for himself last chapter.. I didn’t see anyone bring that up and felt off since everyone was praising him when he told Asa he thinks for himself.

I don’t think that Denji will turn into a weapon. I don’t think that Asa “owns” him yet, which I feel is supported by his conflicting feeling at the beginning of the chapter. The whole point of the date was to get him to develop feelings for her, but by the end Asa is the one with feelings. If anything, Denji is the one in control. (Massive cope probably)

The last time I saw Denji so genuinely happy was hugging Pochita. That penguin is his tether to life.

I'd say Denji probably is going to be turned into a weapon, or at the very least his spine will. In the first chapter of part 2 we did see Yoru turn the severed arm of the Justice Devil into a weapon so we do know that she can turn devils (or at least parts of them) into weapons. Afterwards she'll probably notice what Denji actually is then revive him so they can fight.

But then again, trying to predict what will happen in this manga is like trying to predict the weather in 2 weeks.

i feel like the aquarium spear is so strong because that place is where she felt love. So the guilt of destroying that sentimental place fueled the power of the spear.

Personal theory of mine, might be a little far fetched, but since Pochita is his heart, he might take over as the “true chainsaw man” we saw in the control devil arc after Yoru yoinks Denji’s head and Spine, and try to get his head and spine back by fighting Yoru

I think you're spot on. Just like Makima could control anyone the she believed she was superior to, Yoru/Asa can turn anything into a weapon that she believes she owns. It seems to be a running theme with the Horseman.

But ya, Yoshida is definitely sus AF!

Man, you know Fujimoto is the GOAT when he literally makes you go from “YES!!!” to in 3.5 seconds tops. Chainsaw Man is easily one of my top 3 favorite manga

i agree with your speculation about the next chapter. There is now way that Yorus plan will work. Yoru of course doesn't seem to understand what love really is, so she just assumes that Denji is now theirs. But Asa obviously doesn't think the same way, so it will be just a weird scene with Denji thinking something simple, Asa will be embarrassed and Yoru will rage/also will be embarrassed
