LG C1 vs Samsung S95B: Which TV is better? You decide.

We are comparing the LG C1 vs Samsung's S95B. The LG C1 is an OLED television and the S95B is a QD-OLED, which TV do you like better?

I do not own the movie trailers, HDR snippets, and gameplay videos, all clips were carefully selected for the purpose of demonstrating the capabilities of the television.

I’ve been exclusively using oled for nearly the past decade starting with the EF9500. I went to the A1E after that then several LG oleds then the A90J and now the S95B and I can say being so used to the lack of brightness it’s pretty amazing to see. Gaming is fing insane

Just got my S95B this morning and been playing some Netflix, Prime Video, Direct TV which those all look great. Bright Vivd, excellent contrast definitely step up from my Sony A8H, but probably not night and day but an improvement for sure by overall brightness and contrast, shadow detail is impressive. But then put in a 4k HDR movie and hold one, OMG. Watched "Ghost in the Shell" and was blown away by that movie, have never seen it look like that before. The colors were something to behold. The smallest of details like catch lights in the eyes on close up face shots bring whole new level of realism to the picture unlike anything I ever seen. After watching 4K movies with this there is no way I could ever go back to a traditional WRGB OLED. Samsung you rock, QD OLED is the future for now anyway.

Every time I scroll down the comments section, especially on television videos, there are numerous people saying the exact same thing. Once you understand, it makes enough sense, but it still irks me every time I am stupid enough to take a peek.

I've recently purchased a 77 c1 but i will definitely be upgrading to a qd oled in a few years when they do a 77 inch version at a good price.. Oled blacks and high brightness is what alot of people have been waiting for.

I have an LGC1 and the only problem is sometimes it’s a little darker than I would like. Otherwise I absolutely love it. Maybe it’s not the best anymore but last year it was the clear winner.

Who cares if the S95B is brighter than what a graph shows? Everybody wanted a OLED as bright as possible, when it's here folk moan about it's brightness?? Never heard of OLED light level adjustment? The S95B looks incredible.

I know this is an expensive hobby can pay off if you keep it up! Love both sets for their own pros but the Samsung is doing what it does best… brightness. Really looking forward to the a95k to see if it can dial in this QD panel properly.

Nice video, man.

I have both of these TV's (debating which one to return), and while the LG C1 is likely better for your standard streaming SDR content (colors appear more natural), the S95B blows it out of the water for brighter HDR content, especially games. The C1 just can't handle such things as well, as S95B just has that wow factor. If you don't view/game in a dark room (I don't), this is something to consider.

The C1 is still a great set and a tremendous value, so it all depends on your needs (and how important that extra $1000+ or so is to you). Also, Tizen is pretty sluggish with menus and such, even moreso than webOS 6 so that factors into the experience.

TV's are really hard to capture on video (especially with 2 TV's in the shot), so anyone who says the S95B looks blown out here didn't bother listening to the first part of your video where you said this is the result of the camera. It's also in Standard mode, and can easily be reined in with settings in Game Mode (or Movie/Filmmaker for non-gaming content).

Crazy to see S95B is not even max brightness. Colors and pop are incredible. It's amazing how much detail gets eaten by C1.

The LG's Oled have Black Crush that's the reason I'm returning my C1, by having Black Crush you loose detail in dark scenes, like there are dark scenes where you should still be able to see something but the LG erases it making it completely dark. For example min 4:23 look at the character on the left and the one on the right. You can't really see all the details on the left character because the LG is Crushing the Black but look at the right image, you can clearly see the back of the character in more detail, so if you watch hooro movies or movies where there's a lot of dark scenes you're gonna lose some details on the LG's. And that's a problem on all LG OLEDs cuz I already own the CX and the C1 Both Tvs Crushes Blacks.

For those who are wondering about burn in in gaming.
Don't believe them, buy it yourselves and experience it.

Im also one of the people who believed others opinion especially on reddit. I turned a blind eye buying lg g1 as a main monitor and im honestly surprise that it looks better compared to a 4k monitor.
Additionally, the burn in from gaming is not a big of a deal cuz in my experience ive been playing on lg g1 since day one ive brought it mainly dota 2 lol and starcraft 2 which had static ui all the time but when i checked about burn in. It's literally none so far and it's already been a year.

...👍👍 I have c1 last year its best tv i have, , but Samsung QD OLED is awesome..more brightness, , more colours..so sad Samsung don't sell QD oled in my country..
