My jaw dropped at the Voya Nui sticker in the plane, I absolutely love that and totally didn't expect it. Also, I don't know why they're flying to Voya Nui but that's super dangerous lol. With the Hidden Side bus having a Bionicle reference, the new Hidden Side firetruck with a Bionicle reference and now this plane with a Bionicle reference, I'm starting to get hopeful LEGO might actually give us something next year for Bionicle's 20th anniversary. Mata Nui, I hope so!

This is good. Unlike some incomplete videos, you show what is in the box: the numbered and un-numbered bags, booklets, stickers and separate parts. VERY helpful for the viewer. And you clearly and slowly explain how to build the set. EXCELLENT!

Edit: I think this is the best plane lego has made so far, but it could definitely benefit from some interior modifications...

I love aviation, and I love lego, and I have never hesitated to purchase lego city airport sets. Although, I don't believe this one is as good as those in the past. I recall my first airport set, the 3182 Airport, and It had many nice features. The aircraft also felt a lot nicer. I feel as if the realism and quality dropped of in this set. First the airport is a tiny little terminal, compared to 3182. And the aircraft here does not look as good. the nose and tail piece feels odd and cartoony, the vertical stabilizer is rather small, and the engines are not very visually appeasing compared to the special engine pieces used on the old planes. There are some nice new features on this set though, such as the very detailed cockpit, and that landing gear/wing support structural area. I feel as if they combined designs of old airplane sets with some of the features of these new sets, they could create a very appealing set.

Nice video and decent set! The new canopy piece is very reminiscent of an Airbus. I'll have to try my hand at dropping the wings lower in order to make more space for minifigure seating. I'm not a big fan of how small the tailfin is, however, and I'll have to raise the wheel clearance while improving the engines somehow (they look strange to me) with additional pieces.

I don't mind the storage for Poppy's car (she's supposedly a music pop star in Lego City and, well, rich people get to travel in style). I've flown in half-passenger, half-cargo planes before so it seems reasonable to me. The dad with baby figure is funny, but I really dig the new torso and head print for the rocker girl. The freckles face reminds me of my wife, and even the alternate sour expression with sunglasses looks like her when she disapproves of something, lol. I'll have to reuse that head for a custom minifig of her.

I plan to pick this up for the plane and minifigures and reuse the parts of the tiny airport for my own custom airport (I've been combining all the parts from past Lego airport sets into a super 32x32 MOC terminal; it's been coming along very well but it's very piece count intensive). The additional parts like the windows and panel pieces should come in handy.

Thanks for sharing this build. It was very informative! I'm jealous that Europe apparently gets Lego summer sets on time while North America will have to wait a little while longer before the factory in Mexico can be reopened. Just have to be patient.

I got this lego set for my birthday im 12 now and im very happy that my parents decided to buy me this I've had fun building and playing with it 5 stars if I could rate it highly recommend for more complicated but fun builds
