I love all your content, but I specifically enjoy it when you, Sharon, and or Lee go on a walkabout. Sitting here in Australia, seeing the history of England is lovely, and your commentary always adds a bit of a giggle. Love your work. Keep it up!

I enjoyed this trip. I have often seen pictures of the Shambles but never been on a walk down through it. So much history every corner you turn. I liked the market. Loved those army jeeps!!!😍

Thank you for taking us on a lovely day out. As you know by now my favourite BE content is shopping or days out, so I thoroughly enjoyed this! York looks a very nice place to be and as always you both made the visit interesting and fun. That old pub (three tuns) if the walls there could talk! Looking forward to part two!

Hi Sharon and Martin it’s lovely seeing where you are walking, it’s bringing back wonderful memories of our visits to York. Loved the Harry Potter shops and the Xmas shop, but our favourite was the evening ghost tours x

Hi Martin and Sharon my mum's side of the family used to live above the shrine in the shambles and I used to stay with my nanna who lived above it over summer holidays she used to open it up and get it ready for the mass on a Saturday and Sunday used to play in the market on a weekend as they didn't have them then couldn't let the bath water out until market closed as it would flood it they shambles used to be a butchers street and the gutters used to be to run all the blood form the meat if you saw some shops had hooks to hang the meat outside the shops windows
St Margaret clitheroe helped priests escape and was stoned to death on a bridge forgotten the name of it if you pop it on u tube will tell you the story and the alley way on the shambles you went down is call whip ma wot ma gate and on the corner was a sweet shop I love York I could of showed you alot of alley ways and short cuts the graves are from people who died from the plague and they didn't move them as they were scared that if they did the plague would return I could go and have walked the wall you do have gaps in it and have to re join in other places

Hi thank you for sharing your trip of York with us I am a York lady born here and you did some lovely views of the attractions in York shame you found some things expensive the Clifford's Tower has been renovated at the cost of 5 Million you now see so much more once in there and the views once you enjoyed the rest are amazing £11.00 when visiting London or Stratford upon Avon, Many places are similar or more expensive than York and I just want people to know you can enjoy York on a tight budget also thank you again for sharing your trip to York...
