As a German I am pretty pissed that they would appropriate my Culture like this.

As a German, I find it so disrespectful to my culture that an American company like Disney uses our centuries-old mythology and thinks it should be rewritten and changed because the original story doesn't fit into their world view. Imagine someone doing this with legends from African or Muslim culture. Snow White may be a German fairy tale, but the values and the story of this fairy tale are so transcendent that they tell a universal truth about humanity.
