What she probably means by timing is that as time goes people change, we are not who we were 5 years ago etc., we're different people, and thats why you might not be attracted that much to someone 5 years ago but be very attracted to that person at the moment, because it wasnt you 5 years ago who was not attracted, and the other person changes, too.
