I would be dead today without a d&c to remove my dead baby boy who had died and I was slowly bleeding out. I said I would have to talk to my husband but my doctor said "you don;t have a choice without this operation you will die". Thank goodness he did the operation the same day I found out I was pregnant and that was the reason I had been hemorrhaging. After the operation and a blood transfusion I felt well again whereas I had been so weak when I made the call I said to the receptionist, "i feel if you don't help me right away, I won't have the strength to call you back". I feel so bad for these women who are dying for want of what was given to me freely.
