SUSPENSION SYSTEM - Rubber spring, Air spring and Torsion bar

Springs form an important component of suspension system. These are used as mountings and vibration dampers also. Rubber springs play an important role as mountings and dampers. Air spring, too, is used in suspension system. Generally, these are made of bellows. Rubber and fabric are used to make bellows. Torsion bar has cylindrical form. It also acts as spring. Torsion bar and it's variants, too, form components of suspension systems. Detailed description of these three is included in this lecture.
