Korg GA-1 Guitar & Bass Tuner Guided Tour

I've used my current one since 1998 - that's 18 years, folks. I use it for hours at a time, week after week. The single AAA battery lasts for about 5 years!!? It doesn't have the sound reference though, which would be handy. If I had any criticism, I would like it to have a more stable needle, rather than jump all over the place.

Accuracy-wise, it can't be beat. My band tunes down a half-step, so the flat-feature (mine is only quadra-flat, but more than I need), is so handy, I can't tell you. ABSOLUTELY NO COMPLAINTS!

I've had mine for about a year now, and for some reason it stopped working, it will turn on but i cant get it to do anything when i pluck my bass strings WTF???

I wanted to pick up playing guitar again, but the tuner doesn't power on anymore? I already replaced batteries but the power button doesn't do a thing anymore..

@PeterLmfao if you have it plugged through cable and its doing that its something wrong with ur guitar you need a set up i had the same issue trying to tune my great grandmothers guitar its very old needs a set up etc. but when i plugged it into my bass perfect you do have to pluck the string loud when its plugged in though. since u have an acoustic use the mic feature or reference tones. there great and u will build your ear at the same time hope that helped

so to tune half step down, you need to press flat once ? or tune the E to scarp ?

when I press the sound button the device is turned off, does anyone know how to repair this?

I agree Man!!! I got 1 myself!! No my guitar is MORE out of tune than when I started!!!

first its really hard to get a standered tunning at green, second i don't know how to tune my bass to drop c or d using this thing . i tried different tuners to get drop c and d, and then i pluged GA-1 tuner, tried using every flat tunning but none of them shows green at all, not even near green i ve spent nights to figure it out but no luck, this thing sux for me.

Sound on my just stoped working everything seems to work but the sound makes me question my tuning

Is this just for standard D tune, or I could tune my acoustic guitar to C and other tunings with this guitar tuner? :)

press the flat button to go down a half step 0:43 explains it, but the korg ga 30 is 10x better
