2024 Genesis GV70 Luxury Sport Line (car review)

The humble SUV can be anything from a small crossover to a big traditional 4WD, but somewhere in all of that, we seem to have forgotten the S stands for ‘sports’. Well fear not, as the 2024 Genesis GV70 Luxury Sport Line is bringing it back.

Marrying luxury with sporty tendencies, and the power to prove its mettle, thanks to a 3.5-litre twin-turbo petrol V6 throwing down 279kW and 530Nm to all four wheels, the GV70 is a vehicle that will have you falling in love, even at first sight.

Its striking road presence exudes class and luxuriousness, with a sports grille and distinct twin headlights wrapping around its front apron. The long bonnet hides the performance-focused motor in what is one of the neatest engine bays we’ve seen in a while.
