I like that Steven, a Smith and Shannon Sharp are calling them out, but they are not concise enough because of all the yelling.
You cannot say Diana tarasi was on the Olympic team and cite non-basketball reasons (exp, vet) and then say you can't use non-basketball reasons for Caitlin Clark.
As far as basketball reasons, Katie and Clark was out playing several people on the Olympic team before the Olympic. Caitlin Clark was out playing several people on the Olympic team before the Olympic break that needs to be hammered home. She is either the best point guard in the league already, and was at the time, or at the very least number #2 and you should probably have two point guards on your Olympic team.

Now to the excuse of hating on her.

If Caitlin Clark was black, they would never mention the past greats of the game, because they would love that a woman of color is finally getting the attention for the WNBA. But since it happens to be a white woman, they cannot tolerate it.
I wish people would be honest enough to say what it is.
There have been white women, great players in the past, that haven't gotten this attention.
Caitlin Clark is the right player, at the right time, with the right skill set, with the right amount of attention, and they are squandering the opportunity because her skin is the wrong color.
