I was wondering if you have written any script tasks that use async? I'm working on a script task that uses a sql data reader that writes the query output to a fixed-width file. I would like to use asynchronous methods when I'm working with a lot of data, but I've never used them before.

Hey, I want to import a large amount of CSV data to a SQL server using SSIS, but in many columns, some data is longer than 50 characters (up to 800). Is there a way to adjust the length without doing it manually for each column?
