Sister Ann (Jacqueline Byers) believes she is answering a calling to be the first female exorcist… but who, or what, called her? In response to a global rise in demonic possessions, Ann seeks out a place at an exorcism school reopened by the Catholic Church. Until now these schools have only trained priests in the Rite of Exorcism – but a professor (Colin Salmon) recognizes Sister Ann’s gifts and agrees to train her. Thrust onto the spiritual frontline with fellow student Father Dante (Christian Navarro), Sister Ann finds herself in a battle for the soul of a young girl, who Sister Ann believes is possessed by the same demon that tormented her own mother years ago. Determined to root out the evil, Ann soon realizes the Devil has her right where he wants her.

She had to fight hard within, against what about her own life, her deep feelings about it all, being demonically used to try to possess her. She was having a bit of a problem with it, but she won and expelled the demon that went into her, that she had already expelled out of the girl child. I love how she looks at the statue of Archangel Michael in the end. That's exactly who helped her defeat. It's a good movie in the sense that she decided as a nun, to study the psychological conditions, problems, life trauma, etcetera, of possessed, before they were possessed. She became only the second woman in 700 years of history, to be officially recognized by The Catholic Church, to be allowed to become an expert exorcist, after Catherine of Siena. Extremely interesting movie.
