Hell yeah! See, I was told to only record vocals in protools... however, with the DAWs these days, you can damn near do everything! I was in the process of trying to figure out how to import my beat files/instruments into protools and then do my vocals over there; this seems a hell of a lot easier! I have the producer edition of Fl studios 12 - (12.5)

very informative with the youlean meter, but guys don´t listen to what he said at the end it just depends on the beat i was struggling to get this gain staging thing : the answer is instrumental should be -21 - -23db thats the average and the vocal should sit around -18db as long as your not peaking / correct me if im wrong Kay! that was just your case
