Kandy station shunting diesel locomotive Y-700 of Sri Lanka Railways crosses under photogenic gantry

The Kandy station shunting locomotive Y #700 of Sri Lanka Railways pushes the passenger cars for the local train 1019 to Matale onto track 1. Like almost every other train or locomotive, it has to cross under the photogenic entrance gantry from direction of Peradeniya. The Henschel diesel locomotive W3 #647 has already reached the platform and is not visible. On the other hand, the steam locomotive B1D #340 "Frederick North" is visible, which is waiting with its charter train in the siding without a platform on the line to Matale.
