Great question! Liquid Sand has a great staying power even without Top Coat. Some of us in the office are going on 8 days chip free, and we have seen it last for a month as a pedicure!

That's pretty good for a Matte finish polish to not chip without a top coat! I LOVE the black, red, silver colors of Stay the Night. It has a romantic red velvet look & IT'S a perfect shade to wear for Valentine's Day. Lately, I've been very pleased with OPI. I've worn OPI for many years, but I love the Skyfall nail polish from the 007 Collection & the Liquid Sand nail polish from the Mariah Carey collection. Good job, OPI. I like it when you come up with NEW different stuff in nail polish! :-)

Sure. You can use Drip Dry. It may add a bit of a sheen to the regularly matte finish, but you will still keep the texture. :)

Yes you can. Just make sure you use a VERY thin, almost sheer layer of Shatter and it turns into a cool snake-skin sort of effect. Let us know what you think! :)

I bought OPI Liquid Sand nail polishes from the Mariah Carey collection in Stay the Night (black sand with red & silver flecks) & Can't Let Go (purple liquid sand) for my friends & me last week. I'm wearing Stay the Night & I'm gazing at the sand texture, the sparkle on my nails right now. I LOVE Stay the Night! It's so different & unique. I normally don't like Matte nail polish by other nail polish brands because they chip within next day but this Stay the Night hasn't chipped. (cont.)

CVS is not an authorized OPI retailer. They sell our Nicole by OPI line, but any OPI lacquers they carry are most likely older shades. You can find Liquid Sand at Ulta, JCPenny, Regis, Beauty Brands, and other professional salon retailers.
