Dude, I want to say thank you. I had a DSi action replay that lost all of its codes when I tried to update the firmware so I can use it for Black 2 and White 2. I kept looking trying to find an answer. Downloaded most of the code managers but did not work so I gave up. I bought the latest action replay for DS that has update on it and yellow. Then I decided to try and fix it again. I stumbled onto your video and it finally works! Those were the right files and update

I remember these weird things before at the store. I recall going on a PC at school and going to their website and downloading some codes. I think. I used to fiddle around with my Pokemon Pearl, my favorite game, and man, I found unknown territories like secret places that can be accessed via online for events but because I never had internet back then I was blown away like secret Legendary Pokemons like the Giratina. It was a spooky place.

I remember typing out codes too. Screwed up one and got a bad egg in HG trying to get Groudon but it worked right the second try and I overwrote the egg.
