I love this series, the comparison series

It's always great to see the 12GB config in action for me. I do want to upgrade to 16 gigs, but I am reconsidering it since in most cases it isn't even that much of a meaningful difference, and still performs significantly better than 8 gigs. I'm looking forward to seeing more games tested.

It seems that the performance of the game has improved since you uploaded the first video…

Hello! Can you also try 20gb (4+16) in future videos? Reason being is that many 5500u laptops have 4Gb soldered into the motherboard (examples include many Lenovo 15ALC6 models and some Acer Aspire 5 models), so you can only go from 12GB to 20GB (no 16GB option). I do suspect 20gb would perform worse than 16gb because it is a very unbalanced flex mode, but i also suspect some modern games (such as hogwarts legacy) are actually expecting the 16GB to go alongside at least 4GB of VRAM, so maybe 20gb will be more consistent than 16gb in those newer cases?

I'm not an expert, but I think the reason why Hogwarts Legacy could be stuttering could be due to the RAM not only being used for the game but also Windows and the graphics (since integrated GPUs use the system RAM for VRAM) although I haven't played Legacy on a Ryzen 5600G or 5700G since I don't have a PC with that processor. I don't know if this also happens with the Steam Deck (SteamOS or Windows), ROG Ally, or Lenovo Legion Go because they also have iGPUs and have 16 GB RAM although they have DDR5 and a different processor. I think it could be noticeable with games where they're designed around 16 GB RAM but games designed for lesser RAM/VRAM wouldn't have issues.

I don't believe this issue would happen on gaming laptops or desktops with 16 GB RAM using dedicated GPUs since the NVIDIA or AMD GPU has their dedicated VRAM for the graphics.

Ignoring the controversy, it's just a very mediocre game.
