Sony Vegas won't accept the resulting mp4 file. The whole reason I need to convert webms to begin with was so they could be used in vegas.

Thanks for the video. The conversion worked, but the video plays without sound in one app and doesn't play on VLC at all. Do you have any suggestions?

when I've done that and played the converted video, it didn't play on the vlc video player

I just get an error "Streaming / Transcoding failed:

Shit don't work at all. I followed the steps to the teeth and Adobe premiere will still not accept the converted file. So I looked at the file to see why Adobe Premiere would not let me use the video file. It turns out the converted file was completely corrupted. Gonna need to find another method because this shit is not working.
