I have an RX 6750 XT. I wonder how old I will be when ray tracing will be playable on midrange cards. RX 6750 XT was a midrange GPU in the past and now it's a solid 1080p GPU.

That Nvidia shadow option iirc it is called reconstruct is taxing as hell talk abouta performance killer. There are a lot of options but there are some really system draining settings. It is a fun game and looks really nice. It's not a popular game but who said it has to be for me to enjoy it. I have only played a couple of hours so tomorrow I will get into it a bit more.

All modern aaa titles will favor nvidia. I'm starting to feel bad for amd users. Also with how long it takes for amd to get it running as good as possible with there drivers. But devs have been hinting at there builds for a while and how they will be doing it in the future. Nobody wanted to listen to them pushing for nvidia features more.

Planned obsolescence by making overly demanding games with RT features you can't disable. Really, how much money does the corporate gaming industry data project that we have? They are going to force consumers to crash PC gaming. They forget its only a hobby and food cost a fortune these days.

It's a slaughter by Nvidia and raytracing isn't even the most important part. Upscaling is mandatory in most new AAA games and AMD is trailing. A six year old midrange Nvidia card upscales better than a hot from the shelf brand new top of the line AMD card, there is no way to defend this anymore, and sales reflect this. AMD needs to just fix this, concentrate on there own products and not make upscalers for ancient Nvidia 1080 cards, nobody cares about that.
