Please keep making these videos, they are wonderful! It's difficult to find videos on YouTube that accurately explain our old stories and beliefs, but your channel is a true gem and I give you thanks for posting your videos

Watching this video, I was struck by several undeniably strange coincidences:-
A.
Ancient Nordic myth taught that the Earth is just one amongst nine worlds, which vary greatly in both size and temperature.
B.
Modern Cosmology teaches that the Earth is just one amongst nine worlds, which vary greatly in both size and temperature.
C.
Pure logic suggests that humanoid species living amidst such wildly varied environments would develop marked differences in size/appearance.
D.
NASA (amongst other Space Research Agencies) has plans to establish a manned Research Centre on Mars in the immediate future (and also to terraform Mars into a habitable planet in the longer term):-

Terraforming of Mars - Wikipedia
Terraforming of Mars is a process by which the surface and climate of Mars would be deliberately changed to make large areas of the environment hospitable to humans ...
Motivation and ethics · Challenges and limitations · Advantages · Proposed methods and strategies

The Big Idea - Making Mars the New Earth - National ...

Most of the work in terraforming, says NASA planetary scientist Chris McKay, would be done by life itself. “You don’t build Mars, ” McKay says.

Here's How We'll Terraform Mars With Microbes

07/05/2015 · Back in April, NASA's Curiosity rover found evidence of liquid water on Mars. Still, this is no life-friendly oasis: The water is hyper-salty, ultra-cold ...

?
Might the ancient myths and modern science merely be using different names to describe the same realities ?

Mercury - Svartálfaheim.
Venus - Muspelheim.
Earth - Midgard.
Mars - Asgard.
Jupiter - Jötunheim.
Saturn - Álfheim.
Uranus - Vanaheim.
Neptune - Niflheim.
Pluto - Helheim.

Helheim wasn’t a specifically bad place, it’s just the land of the ancestral dead, those who did not lead lives that would cause them to go to another afterlife. It was after Christianisation hel was associated with bad things.

Ive always wondered why the Gods would let the unworthy dead go to Hel only to attack them at Ragnarok. Then again im not sure how many are in Hel compared to Valhalla. Good video. Thank you.

So if someone dies of old age or of a sickness are they banished from asgard or midgard and sent to helheim? Or is it only if you haven't killed someone or haven't been in combat before you will be sent to helheim. Sorry for the poorly worded question typing this before I fall asleep lol.

I thought Hel is part of Niflheim and the 9th realm is Nidavellir, which is the ACTUAL home to the dwarves.

While Svartalfheim is home to the, I guess we’d call, Dark Elves.
