I bought this board game second hand. I tried reading the rules but did not think they were easily written. I have now watched 43 minutes of this video and wow, you are a great teacher. Now I hope I will be able to play this game solo. It seems very interesting.

My understanding from someone who loves this kind of trivia is that if you can balance another dice on top of the cocked dice without it sliding off the number shown is "live".

Ok, kinda creepy. I started this video and then was on another window when I hear the a soft voice say "god, I hate you." I had to restart the video to make sure I wasn't hearing something wrong. So the phrase is around the 1:32 mark right when you start the feed. I assume it was in jest, because it was extra creepy when a person isn't directly watching the video.
