Do you ever doubt your ability to answer bigger than life questions like, “Why do I exist? What is the purpose of life? Can I know God? If so, how? Are miracles possible?” And if God exists what’s with all the evil in the world? Do questions like these ever nag at you? If so, you’ve come to the right channel. I too am a fellow wonderer who thinks about stuff like this.

I love this! I did full contact fighting for 15 years and love apologetics. It seems that several apologists were involved in martial arts at some point. Keep up the good work

When you know the truth and you live for Jesus and believe in Him then you will not “feel ashamed”. Allow the Holy Spirit to speak when you should speak. When you know someone acts a certain way about God it is because they hate God and not you but you are in their face in the moment. Don’t be ashamed of God and what He says. There is a lack of belief when someone is ashamed in the Words that Jesus spoke. We all feel like that at first because we are unsure and don’t know like babies but spend time in the Word reading the Word to want to become more like Jesus and you will be confident and see the flaws in man’s thought process even if you do not know the answer you will be able to defend your faith. Do you not defend you father or sibling when you know they are right or do thou feel ashamed which means you yourself do not think they are right while you are standing up for them?

Focus more on Jesus because it is clear that DEBATERS and the COWARDLY and people that start fights and strife do not inherit the kingdom of God. Did Jesus debate when the Pharisees threw scripture at Him or did He speak with authority on what is the truth in just a few words and shut them up with each time. The same with Satan. It is written to submit yourself then to God and resist the devil and he will flee from you. The people who rebel against God are the children of the devil so they will act like their father but you must share the gospel so that they may hear and be saved. You must stand firm in the truth and not firm in your feelings. Courage is facing what you fear in the face of fear not running from what you fear. The Father did NOT give His children a spirit of fear for there is no fear made in God’s perfect love because fear involved punishment. The one who fears has not be perfected in perfect love which is God.

Believe in Jesus that He died for your sins on the cross and rose on the third day so that you may have everlasting life and you overcome the world through He who had overcome the world and there would be no shame. Shame is only the result of sin.

I did martial arts and Wing chun you must move away from those practices which are not as innocent as they seem and although I did it for sport and not competition or to get into fights it does produce and encourage that mindset while at the end of the day someone if fighting to defend themselves when God defends you and fights for you and says vengeance is His. Read where Joshua and his armies fought when God handed their enemies over into their hands but when they disobeyed God and someone was found with an idol and gold from their enemies in the Israelite camp God let them fight on their own and they lost miserable. You and I can not do nothing on our own. There is no system that we can make that can fight against a war that is not flesh and blood. Believe in Jesus!
