In the spirit of getting ready for my next craft show, I wanted to make a video about getting ready for your FIRST craft show!

I was a Network Marketer for a restaurant for 3 years and had participated in my fair share of events where our company had a booth, and I had to be the face of a company. However, when I signed up for my first craft show I had a million questions!

I found everyone had all the same answers and advice to give, so today I wanted to get raw with you and share 10 tips you can't find anywhere else and some details you'll wish you knew before you even signed up for a craft show!

If you have any questions, leave them in the comments below and I will gladly answer them!

And don't forget to subscribe!

I love HOW you said STAND, and you don’t give a crap about if there is a chair there. 😂 It is SO true though! Sometimes I have been the ONLY person standing in the small fairs I’ve been in.

Thanks for sharing your practical advice. You've given me some good ideas there, especially on how to keep space in your allotted area to draw people in.

Barely seen your video! Very helpful!! I am doing my first art in the park in a couple of months. I'm very excited but also nervous lol it's just a hobby at this point, no business name or or anything. I am getting a tent and everything but I didn't know what to do as far as a banner..?

Your dog is adorable! Thanks for the video and great tips! Just one point though...your goal for sales should never be your booth/table fee. As crafters we undervalue ourselves so I know it's difficult to do, however, you always need to make some profit. You also need to earn for your time. Therefore if a show cost $80 then you need to sell maybe $100 to consider it a success. Also it can be ok to sit occasionally. It depends how long the craft show is. Sometimes standing can be an aggressive stance. But yes I think it's important to stand when a customer approaches. Thanks again for the video!
