I've been messing around with MIDI drums for a bit over the last few years but it's only been little things here and there. All of these little tips and tricks definitely help when you're learning to program. After a while you do develop an ear and a feel for what goes where and how it should fit into a pattern. I never looked up for any videos on drum programming and your video is my first. Been using Superior drummer 2.0 about a year and I never knew that we can channel the mics out to our DAW individually. Im using cubase 5 btw. Anyway thank you so much for have creating this video.

tip: if you cant see the + and - sign you have to select AU instruments > Toontrack > superior drummer > Multi output (16x stereo) -- mine was on stereo, it took me a while to figure it out lol

Man you're really good at explaining and teaching this sort of things! I would really enjoy a series of the same format on how you go about recording and mixing a complete song! You know, little tricks you use for guitar and bass, tips on eq and compression...
