Many years ago, before I was prescribed glasses, I was put through a lot of eye tests and one of the results showed that I had convergence insufficiency. It means that my eyes didn’t move parallel with each other, so I had difficulty focussing. No alcohol involved.

As a vestibular physical therapist that specializes in assessing patients for vestibular dysfunction, this test is very accurate and useful for assessing for central neurological dysfunction. In the absence of central neurological dysfunction (e. g. concussion, stroke) especially in totality of other concerns by the officer (failing SFSTs) this could contribute to a DUI charge.

I won't be able to pass any if them damn tests... None of them... And when my sugar is high... I show signs of being drunk... So I will ask for a blood draw... 😂 If they decide I am going to jail
