Inside Haiti's Gang Crisis - What The Media Won't Show You

As President Trump intensifies efforts to curb immigration and reduce foreign aid spending, thousands of Haitians face an uncertain future. With hundreds of thousands currently residing in the U.S. under asylum claims, many may soon be deported to a country already in crisis.

Haiti, struggling with gang violence and political instability, remains deeply affected by widespread poverty. Gangs control over 80% of the capital, Port-au-Prince, leading to rampant violence and severe shortages of food and shelter. This desperate situation has pushed many Haitians to flee their homeland, seeking refuge in the U.S.

However, with the Trump administration moving to cut foreign aid and enforce stricter immigration policies, those seeking asylum may soon find their lives upended. The International Organization for Migration (IOM) has reported a troubling rise in displacement due to gang violence, with more than a million people now forced from their homes in Haiti.

Obviously, the aid was not going to the people but to the gangs.

It is Pretty obvious that money isn't their problem. They need military help to clean that place up. How long has it been like this? It Sure isn't President Trump's problem or the United States. It is a Sad Deal that wouldn't be a simple fix.

You can’t fill someone else’s cup when your cup is not full. Fix American issues first! And believe me we have allot of them

Charity starts at home. The United States of America must take care of its citizens first!!!

it is not United States' responsibility to control the gangs in Haiti, our money is for American homeless veterans old and kids - not for people in Haiti or any other country

Do not make President Trump the culprit. He is doing what is best for America first. It is what he promised and what he is doing. We can't help anyone until we help ourselves. Money is clearly not the answer the changes need to come through leadership, unity and love for each other and their country. Praying

The USAID aid never reached the haitians. I have been in Haiti, I did not witness any palpable "thing " that all this so called aid had ever accomplished for the betterment of the Haitians. Keep your aid in the US instead.
