From my experience, men who move too quickly are often being manipulative and it’s often controlling behaviour. You can show interest without losing your comfort level. If someone’s behaviour makes you uncomfortable that’s something you should listen to. Honestly Mark calling this guy a ‘great guy’ and blaming the woman is a bit tiring. I know it’s to show examples but it seems this guy wasn’t so great. All this ‘keep him chasing’ is tiresome.

I told them directly that they are moving too fast, and to slow down. I'm usually the one who takes ages to commit and develope feelings, and find guys who start investing very heavily, talking about the future and things early on to be scare me off. It creeps me out, I've only had casual relationships in the past and can't make decisions about my future so far ahead without seeing the person for at least a few months to see if we are compatible overall, with values, sexually and emotionally.

Situations I've come across from men who move to quickly 1. They fall in love with a fantasy of what they think you are because they haven't taken the time to know you. They are desperate for love which makes them rush. 2. They are controlling and manipulative, they lovebomb you and then they want to have complete possession over you. 3. They want something from you money, status, sex, or just someone to manipulate etc. 4. They have anxious attachment style. They will suffocate you and not respect your space. 5. They MIGHT be a genuinely good guy who doesn't realize they're making a mistake. Proceed with caution.

Yep, just happened to me. Guy bought me flowers on multiple dates, was a great communicator, wrote me a poem, asked me to be his gf 3 weeks into dating, and then became very distant and broke up with me at 3 months right before our first vacation that he booked. I contacted him (stupidly) 2 weeks later, and we started dating again; however, he wanted to see other people while he was "figuring us out." I got sick of his dating other people crap at 6 weeks later and ended it. He was feeding me all of these lines and dangling commitment in front of me. I have never felt so dumb. Lesson learned!! These lovely men seem to be lurking online.

Wow!! Exactly my story, too!!! We hit it off right away and I fell for all the sweet talks. We went “full speed” for about three months (I seriously thought he really wanted to marry me), and he was gone without giving me any explanation and closure. Lesson learned. LOVE THIS VIDEO!!!!

Let's be real, if someones moving too fast, they probably aren't into you but just want someone, BUT also if YOU feel someone's moving too fast it's probably because you're already having doubts and aren't really that into them.

Just think about that crush you had that you was sooo into who you eventually dated... I bet nothing about it felt to fast even tho it did go fast.

Lesson, if you're going to fast you need to check yourself and make standards.

I unfortunately had to cut off a guy the other day he was moving way to fast I let him know I wanted to slow things down we only went on a few dates and he wanted to “take me out of town” and already was planning future events with me after I told him to slow down he told me he honestly didn’t want to slow down I wasn’t comfortable with that so I let him go
