Liz Cheney suffered a ‘crushing defeat’

Sky News host Chris Smith says Liz Cheney suffered a “crushing defeat” to a candidate endorsed by “her nemesis” Donald Trump.

Ms Cheney is no longer a member of Congress after she was easily defeated by attorney Harriet Hageman in the Republican primary for Wyoming’s sole congressional seat.

"Liz Cheney is now suggesting she may take a run for president in 2024," Mr Smith said.
