We Landed at World´s Busiest Airport - Oshkosh Fisk Arrival

My first time flying to Oshkosh AirVenture! Together with a friend we flew from Manassas (Washington DC) to Oshkosh in a Beechcraft B55. Thank you JP for this awesome experience!

Did it once pre-GPS. The whole arrival process works great as long as it is VMC. Controllers are amazing. Kind of fun landing three to a runway at the same time. Parking is controlled chaos.
I’m glad to see you made it out to the seaplane base, it really is a can’t miss part of Oshkosh.

Hi Stefan....welcome to Oshkosh! We've made this trip a lot, most exciting was when we flew Bob's Harmon Rocket across county after he finished building it....what a great trip! Fast Rocket! Have a great time. Neat soaring ship you now own!! Way different from what I flew in the 1960's ( Hummingbird Motorglider tractable engine).

I went in ‘88. Everyone was talking about airplanes. We also did so at my glider fields but there were other interesting conversations, I miss. Airplanes is my favourite topic though. Bend down a look at something then back away to see what you did. How many did you make bend down?

Been there, done it, been bitten to death by the mossies' and sweltered in the heat and humidity. Held up the afternoon air display when we arrived :-) made the report point 10 sec before closing, and then had the controllers telling us to speed up all the way through the cicuit, to which my friend flying the aircraft finally shouted back 'I have to slow down to fun
