Kenworth T680. The seat and how it helps you work

Hello Everyone. This is Josh at Kenworth of Richfield and in this video, we will cover why the seat in the T680 makes it The World's Best truck as part of our T680 video series.

When it comes time to climb in and hit the road, the optional seat dump valve works in your favor. Once you’re in and ready to go, press the button and the seat returns to the last height that you had adjusted to. To adjust the seat height, a simple pull of push on the side lever adjusts the seat up or down one position. The beauty of this setup is that weight doesn't matter. It adjusts based on height, not on the air pressure you put in. With this, you also have the availability of lumbar adjustments to fit your specific back.

There are two adjustments located on the front of the seat also. The one on the right lets you adjust the how length of the bottom of the seat. The lever on the left allows you to adjust the tilt of the entire assembly for a flat, or more of a bucket seat type feel.
When you get out, press the seat dump valve to put the seat back down to it’s lowest level.

When you add in the available heated seat option, you’ve got the most comfortable place to put in the big miles. Just another way that the Kenworth T680 is The Worlds Best.

I have a 2019 t680, I love my truck and the seats are comfortable, very comfortable. This truck will spoil you. It's my second truck and year after year they get better and better. The seat fit you, and it's designed for comfort no matter what size you are. Thanks KENWORTH

This is the absolute worst seat I have sat in since driving a 1962 Mack Model B! I would like to use it for target practice or a boat anchor. You have way over engineered this seat. It may do everything for some people, but I cannot get it to fit me. I am fairly tall and the seat will not stay high enough for me to have my thighs parallel with the floor. I can get it to raise to a comfortable level, but, when I let go of the up-down valve it immediately sags to a very uncomfortable level resulting in knee and back pain. The ride is way too soft. The old seat with a simple up down valve and lumbar support was just fine.

How do you keep the damn seat from airing down. This is a new T680. These eats are not made for tall people. I have a chunk of wood in the back of the seat jammed in there to stop airing down.

I have that same seat and the air valve goes all the way up and wont go down. I can move the button and it controls it but the valve still has air going through it at any level. Tried searching for the part but does not list the part

I picked up a used t680. The driver seat bottom is all greasy and nasty. Is there a refresh kit? Or can swap the bottom seat cushion from the passenger side?
