Women have biological disadvantages which may lead to increased rate of visual aging such as lower collagen density, thinner skin due to lack of testosterone, lower skin elasticity due to oestrogen fluctuation, lower tissue hydration due to lower lactic acid levels, pregnancy which has been reported to accelerate visual aging, higher tendency for bone mass loss and muscle mass loss (which can change the shape of the face) and more.

I recommend putting an effort in environment-related factors (healthy diet, water, sleep, sunscreen, exercise, low stress levels) which may help slow down the process of visual aging.

Level of attractiveness does not automatically equate to age. This study shows at which age rate does the opposite sex find the other less attractive, not which sex develop physical/biological signs of ageing earlier in life. This is more of a sociological study about attraction and age than actual ageing itself.

Natural aging is much easier on men, they can wrinkle, scar, grayup and they just look ruggedly handsome or "distinguished";
Women cant do that, they must maintain soft supple wrinkle free skin to look feminine; aging is much harder on women, requires more work.

Society also is more likely to judge women than men when it comes to looks and grooming. Men's social and economic success can also make them much more attractive where the effect is less pronounced in women.

Just observe middle aged or old couples around you and you'll probably see that women are better looking and take care of themselves while most men don't. Also some men start getting bald at 30 or before.

That woman looks younger than the man and I found that that is usually the case. The man has more pronounced wrinkles. The thing is: society judges aging women more than men. So no, women don't age "faster" or "worse", they are just not "allowed" to age

Women estrogen levels drop significantly affecting skin sagging etc but men don’t use sunscreen. I feel in general there’s better looking women compared to men.

As we all know and see in public, a 50 year old woman 9/10 times looks A LOT better than a 50 year old man. Most men look to be in their 2nd trimester by the age of 40 these days.

We all (unless we die young) will get old and not so attactive anymore, so take care of who you are inside also, so you don’t get old, ugly and bad person. I’ve meet people at first look completely unattractive but they are so nice and kind that everybody wants to be around
