‘Again folks’: Donald Trump Jr reacts to his father’s second assassination attempt

The son of former US president Donald Trump, Don Jr, has reacted to a second assassination attempt on Sunday.

“Again folks! SHOTS FIRED at Trump Golf Course in West Palm Beach, Florida,” he wrote.

“An AK-47 was discovered in the bushes, per local law enforcement. The Trump campaign has released a statement confirming former President Trump is safe. A suspect has reportedly been apprehended.”

According to Fox News, gunshots were heard near the Trump International Golf Club in West Palm Beach, Florida.

A Secret Service agent fired the gunshots at the suspect, who was seen carrying an AK-47.

The former president was playing at the fifth hole before the shots rang out before Trump was taken to safety.
