Choosing an itinerary can be a daunting task, particularly for first-time cruisers.

The cruise you choose should fit your vacation expectations. Are you looking for fun in the sun or are you interested in history -- or both? Do you want wildlife and scenic views or windsurfing and parasailing? Would you rather stop at a different port each day or kick back during several days at sea?

7 night cruise is nice because it feels like you are on vacation. If you live close by the port a 3 night would be a great way to get away for the extended weekend.

I’m going on a 5 night cruise on Navigator Of The Seas in April! Will be my third cruise, first being the Oasis and second being Harmony. I know it will be different on a smaller ship but it will be newly renovated and I am very excited for the new slides! It will also be my first time having a balcony overlooking the ocean rather than the Central Park.

If you have to fly to the city, I think 7 nights is minimum.

For our first cruise, picked one that lined up our wedding date. Flew out morning after
Second - went with two other couples and one of them really wanted as many ports as we could so picked one with 4 stops

Third- I just wanted the biggest ship possible lol.
