The rapid response team is one of the best things added to nursing. It takes the pressure off the bedside nurse to handle emergent situations on their own. Plus the patient gets much better care.

I love how time didn't stop during his inner monologues while in all TV shows everything stops during these scenes.

I like this! Nurses are so underrated. My niece is a RN and is awesome at her job! They deserve more credit then they are given!

One of our doctors assigned to respond to rapids one day didn't even show up. The patient ended up dying but the nurses that responded that day were the true MVP's. Thank you to all the nurses👍

It's amazing that there's a free ICU bed to admit a pt on 2l of oxygen.

Wife is a nurse. She’s a badass. She just went in to work for a few hours because the weekend nurse called her and said she needed help. I’m proud of her.

As an ICU RN that has been disrespected so many times, I absolutely admire your respect for Nurses. Thank you, and continue your awesome work. #Subscribed.

pt 2 features the icu nurse: "they're only on 2L and there's not even an art line... why are they here...??"

Nurses are absolutely amazing. I dunno what I would do without them. When I was new to a job and so nervous about making decisions they would always prompt me and make it seem like it's my decision. They are so hardworking and honestly they don't get enough credit.

I love the nurses at my hospital so much. They're so experienced and I feel like I learn a lot more from them than I do the consultants at times. Especially when they give "suggestions" on what we should do for the patient when I'm stumped

AFAIK my facility's ERT nurses are both well-defined ICU Nurses, as well as Paramedics. If a Resident/Fellow doesn't show up in a timely manner and the situation truly calls for rapid intervention, then their protocols deal with allowing the responding RN to authorize immediate intubation and/or transport to MSICU/ OB (L&D)/ Cath Lab/CICU/ ED (visitors), etc.

As a nurse I can tell you that when we have physicians and residents that can see we know what the heck we're doing and they trust us, the whole facility works smoother and pt get better care in a more timely manner.

This is the kind of little details that makes me want to fulfill my dream of being a Nurse. Even if I'm on my 30s and I feel time is running... I really want to be a Psychiatric Nurse.
As a psychiatric patient myself and being 2 month in different psych wards, their humbleness and dignity towards every patient made me fall in love with this specialty. I've always wanted to work on the medical field, but I thought as a doctor, neehhh, nurse school came to me...

My mom is a nurse, n she's usually this quick in decision making, makes me proud of her❤️❤️, nurses really don't get recognized

Thats one great nurse.

Ive had nurses that take vitals from floor patients and don't inform, perform an action, of bat an eye when recording thinks like O2 under 90 on a previously stable patient, or recording glucose levels under 60 for 2+ consecutive hours when there is already a order to administrate glucose 50% if capillar gl is under 70.

Most are Golden tough.
