How to TAKE-OFF from your HAND - DJI Mini 4 Pro / DJI Mini 3 Pro

When landing on your hand, remember to keep pulling down the controller until the propeller has stopped completely. I let go the stick when the drone touched my palm and it flew straight at my face 😅

I just got the mini 4 and holding the stick down doesn’t work if there is an obstable, it’s very annoying! This was never a problem on my spark. My hand is under the drone, it detects it and raises up a bit, I press and hold down and… nothing. Takes several attempts moving away and coming back, putting the hand slightly in front and under neath before it listens to the stick down. Any solution to that to force it down?

I wish DJI could provide a new function called "Automatic take off countdown for 3 or 5 seconds" to allow users to launch the drone from the Hand easily by taping this button then leave the RC when holding the drone steady in your hand until it take-off. You don't have to keep the RC to your body to press the confirmation button while holding the plane in your hand.

Turn-Off Obstacle Avoidance Sensors will give us more flight time. It's the same way DJI did with Mini 3 without "Pro" suffix. Besides, I wish DJI could provide us some options like:
1) Auto Disable front obstacle avoidance sensors. For backward flight shots.
2) Auto Disable rear obstacle avoidance sensors. For forward flight shots.
3) Auto Disable bottom visual camera. This camera will not being used while altitute higher than 5 meters from the base.

About 60% of the time the drone refuses to land on my hand I can't work out why it does it sometimes and other times it just won't descend any further. And I have to land it on the ground.???

You are taking off and landing at face level in front of the face. You are showing people how to cut their faces. For Hand Take off and Landing, you must hold the drone up very high above your head. Viewer Beware. Sorry for comment. Much Respect.

You can't do the nudge launch with the pro, I was able to do it with the regular mini 3
